I am a Postdoctoral Researcher and Lecturer at the Geschwister-Scholl-Institute of Political Science at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU Munich). Before, I was researcher at the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research (MZES). I hold a PhD degree in Political Science from the University of Stuttgart (German-Franco Graduate School together with Sciences Po Bordeaux) and a Master degree in Sociology and Romance Studies from the University of Heidelberg.
My research interests include political sociology, European Union studies and comparative politics. My work was published in the European Journal of Political Research, European Union Politics, the International Political Science Review, the Journal for European Integration, the Journal of European Public Policy, Party Politics, Political Communication, West European Politics and the German journals Zeitschrift für Vergleichende Politikwissenschaft and Zeitschrift für Parlamentsfragen as well as in several edited volumes.
My nonacademic self enjoys the time together with the family including two (more often than not) lovely little girls.
If you are interested in my research and teaching, you are very welcome to have a look at this website. Thank you and enjoy!
